I can’t help but count down…two more weeks till my due date….The constant updates with the transcribing show that I’m really trying to pass the time.
The wait really is this bad…and the fact that little Ibrahem was 10 days LATE (which means I was almost 42 weeks before I had him) is making me think there’s no reason this one would come any earlier…right???
I really think doctors should give 41 weeks – or maybe even 42 weeks – as the due date. It would spare a lot of mommies the insanity. And I haven’t even hit my due date yet… Allah make me patient.

Bismillah. This is a continuation of our tour of Paradise. I was just thinking that we’ve heard so many lectures on hell, etc, it was a nice change to hear about Jannah and imagine yourself there. And while we do need to remind ourselves to fear hell and its punishment, it’s also important to imagine Jannah and have hope in Allah’s Mercy and imagine Him to forgive us. Because Allah is as we think of Him.
So here we continue our tour of Jannah….
Walking to Your Palace in Jannah
RasulAllah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam says in the hadith that we talked about earlier that you will know your place in Jannah more than you knew your house in dunya. Instinctively, you will know where your residence is in Jannah.
So you get to this huge mansion that is yours. One brick is gold and one brick is silver; wonderful colors. Architecture is something that we don’t know of in this world. In Jannah, there is no limitation of gravity, the material of Jannah is not restricted as it is in dunya; there’s no concrete or tile in Jannah. The palaces are of gold and silver.
You’re getting closer and closer to your palace, and you see something that makes you freeze in your tracks. You become immobile and you cannot move any further, because of the stunning beauty of what you see – (more…)
